Club Bulletin News 16 January 2024
Welcome
In President Luke’s absence, PP Malcolm Lye chaired the meeting. PP Malcolm welcomed everyone to our first meeting for 2024, especially our Guest Speaker, David Walsh, his wife Jenny Brocks and his friends Beau Pose and Tony Wright.
Toast
Garth Carter proposed the toast to the Rotary Club of Pennant Hills. They are a small Club with 11 active members and 5 honorary members. However their fundraising is significant, as their principal source is production of the Pride of Workmanship plaques for all Clubs in Australia. Another source is a raffle for a trailer full of gifts. Their funds are directed to St Lucy’s School and Aged Care Homes amongst other causes.
