Fireworks

The annual Northbridge Fireworks has been held for over 30 years and is Northbridge Rotary’s major fundraising event. Supported by key sponsors including Northbridge Plaza, a combination of entertainment, food, amusement rides attracts over 4000 community members and achieves fundraising of approx $50,000 p.a

Teddy Bear's High Tea
The Teddy Bear’s Picnic was an innovation in 2023 achieved by Willoughby Council providing us with early access to Northbridge Oval. A “sold-out” event with around 50 parents and children attending, the event generated around $1500 in additional revenue for our Club’s charitable works.
Trivia with a Difference

An innovation in 2023, Rotary Northbridge hosted a Quiz Night with a Difference, combining musical theatre, trivia and some live(ish) performances. Expected to become an annual event in our calendar, the night raised around $4000 for our charitable causes
Christmas Raffle

After a few years in the holiday wilderness, in 2020 Rotary Northbridge, with the support of Northbridge Plaza, re-introduced our Monster Christmas Raffle. With a multitude of prizes on offer, the Raffle is now firmly back in our calendar, contributing around $6000 to our charitable efforts.
Comedy for a Cause

Supported by the team of professional comedians at Comedy for a Cause and by Northbridge Golf Club, this annual event has been sold out for the past two years, with 120 patrons enjoying the night and contributing around $4000 to the Club’s charities account.

Northbridge Golf Day
Now in its 15th year, our great friends at Northbridge Golf Club facilitate a Rotary Golf Day where a part of each players registration is donated to Rotary causes, and where prizes are available for nearest the pin, longest drive, etc. Similar one-off events are also held in times of crisis, for example following the bushfires of early 2020, where proceeds were directed to BlazeAid. Fundraising is usually around $5,000

Bunnings BBQs
Northbridge Rotary members are unashamably expert at a sausage sizzle. Regularly seen at Bunnings Chatswood, provided sustenance to hungry families and tradies, each event generates around $2,500 of net funding for our charitable works. Given our expertise in logistics, ordering and our friendly customer service, the Club is often asked to help out with similar BBQ’s for other community groups.
NRL Footy Tipping

For many years, Northbridge Rotary has run a footy tipping competition, on the basis that participants make a donation and half of the donation is then split as prize money at the end of the season. The other half (around $500) is donated to our Charities account. In 2020, the competition transitioned from Rugby Union to League, and with the benefit of technology the competition was opened to Friends of Rotary.
