Vocational - District 9685 Global Grant Awarded to Alison French

 

Northbridge Rotary Club is delighted to announce the successful award of a Global Grant Scholarship

Alison a qualified lawyer will be attending University of Oxford at the Blavatnik School of Government (BSG) in England for two years on a full scholarship.

 

She will be enrolled in a Masters of Public Policy and in particular will participate in a research program called Research on Improving Systems of Education which is a multi country research program looking at how to improve education systems to deliver better learning for all.

 

Alison’s ultimate goals are aligned to improve access to education for Aboriginal and Torres Islander communities by strengthening and learning. This will be facilitated by developing a culture of learning relevant to Indigenous communities.
